I’m almost done editing my photos from the trip I took down the Mississippi River last fall. Brett Ciccotelli and I paddled for a little over a month from Caruthersville, Missouri to New Orleans (Brett Paddled from Pittsburgh starting the previous Spring). I have had a hard time going through the photos because my memory of the trip is so much more intense and beautiful than the photos could ever translate. I’ve come to terms with the disappointment and realize that even if I had taken more and better photos they still wouldn’t compare to the actual experience of such an amazing journey. I’ll be posting a few sets tomorrow.
